Ministries for Children Sunday School: We offer individual classes for each age group every Sunday Morning, taught by trained and caring teachers. Our program highlights the great Bible stories and Bible Principles that help mold young lives and equip them for today's challenges. The children's education program is under the direction of Mable Purdy. Junior Church: During the 11:00 Worship service, we provide a separate Bible teaching time for the children. Classes are divided into 3 age groups - Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary - for better effectiveness. The Junior Church ministry is under the direction of Dave and Jennifer McWhorter. King's Kids: This is an exciting, structured, mid-week program that enables children to learn about God's Word. Each meeting includes games, scripture memorization, and Bible stories. Children between first and sixth grades are invited to come. King's Kids is under the direction of Bret and Terri Hinaman. Kid's Choir: Our elementary Kid's Choir meets each Sunday at 6:30, during the regular evening worship service. The children are encouraged to use their musical abilities for the Lord and have an opportunity to perform periodically on Sunday evenings with two major musicals performed annually. Kid's Choir is under the direction of Cheryl White. Vacation Bible School: Vacation Bible School is one of the highlights in the children's ministries each summer. This week is filled with fun and excitement as children gather, make new friends, and experience competitions, games, Bible stories, crafts and more. FBC is recognized locally as the home of Marketplace, 29 AD, in which workers dress as biblical figures and sets, as well as dramas, are designed to depict a New Testament Village.
